Pangil, PI

Last year's trip to the Philippines continues in photo form. This time visiting my dad's hometown, Pangil, which is in the province of Laguna. We went hiking, also called "trekking", through the Pangil Eco Park.  Besides my family, my cousin Joey, Ate Angel and her boyfriend Ron came as well! We had great adventure. We saw a pretty decent sized snake on the way and hung out with our local friends as they helped us trek through the canyons. However, photos will do no justice. I stopped taking pictures before we got to the large waterfall at the end of the canyon. I actually had to leave all my camera gear/bag in the middle of the rain forest since the water was getting too deep and had to swim across to continue.  Luckily, all my gear was still there by the time we went home. If you are ever in Pangil, I would recommend taking the trek through their eco park!
