Alas, the SFW photos from Anya Kevin’s bachelor party. Nola sure did not disappoint. There was plenty of tasty seafood, lively music, strong drinks, and picturesque nature to boot. Needless to say, the crew had a great time together #uncajunKevin.

Here is a brief summary of our itinerary

Kayak Tour - Great workout while exploring the bayous and swamps of NOLA. Also learned a lot about the ecosystem and challenges NOLA faces. Pro-tip: Sunscreen and hats. Also book early since they have limited kayaks.

New Old Orleans Rum Tour - America’s oldest rum distillery. $15 for an hour long tour, ~6 shots of rum and transport to & from the French Quarter (FQ). Pro-tip: Worth it every time.

Cafe Du Monde - NOLA’s famous beignets and coffee. Open 24 hours. Pro-tip: go late night / early in the morning to avoid the lines.

FQ, Voodoo, and Cemetery Tour - Great walking tour that explores the history of the FQ, voodoo culture in NOLA and their famous Cemeteries. I was a little hesitant booking this for a group guys but it was actually pretty neat and everyone enjoyed it. Sans the heat. It was a good break from drinking and partying. Pro-tip: go during a weekday for a less crowded tour.

Killer Po Boys - “This contemporary po' boy shop offers sandwiches with global flavors & gourmet touches.” Pro-tip: order two sandwiches, they are that good.

The Spotted Cat - The best Jazz Club on Frenchmen street. Pro-tip: go early or late since it gets packed.

Airboat Swamp tour - What is more fun than drifting around the swamps at 55mph on an airboat? Seeing big ass gators trying to get on your boat. No lie, it was an experience. Pro-tip: DO NOT BOOK ONTO A LARGE BOAT. Book a small boat tour, even if you have to split up your group. Small boats are 6-8 people, whereas large boats are packed with 25-30 people. Small boats can also go deeper into the swamps and have better opportunities to see gators.
